Next Level Tennis

(Ages 11-13, 14-16) Is your child an aspiring tournament or high school player looking to move to the next level? This collaboration between the Darien Summer School and Fairfield County Tennis is for them! This intermediate/advanced tennis camp will focus on advanced development of ground strokes, volleys, serving, doubles and singles strategy and match play. Each participant will learn drills that work on all tennis strokes and technique as well as footwork and conditioning. Students will also be taught the skills “mental toughness.” Students will spend one hour each day in supervised match play in singles or doubles, receiving strategy tips from the coaches as they play.

This program is not for beginners. Only players who can rally consistently, hit with some spin and serve consistently will be admitted. This program will be taught by (3) certified and experienced tournament coaches. Rain make-ups will be held on Fridays. No class on July 4^th.
